 This small moon would have been the most uninteresing, common and boring piece of celestial rock, had it not been for one event: the 3300 invasion of the Megrez system by Sirius Corporation's police forces. The refugees, aided by a small force of bounty hunters and mercenaries led by Cdr. Thanase managed to escape destruction and fled through federal controlled space finally stopping to refuel in Liaququ. The Liaququ Government had just evicted Sirius Corp. personnel from the system and was in need of experienced workers in the field of military fuel refining, and most of the refugees were just that. So they made an offer to the refugees: in excange for a desolated moon orbiting Liauququ 4 and full authonomy inside the Liaququ Republic, they would operate the now deserted milfuel refining facilities on Rush's Mine and help with mining operation throughout the system. The deal was closed on 14 October 3300 (see History, PES).
 With extensive aid from Liaququans authorities, the refugees became colonists and started building a couple of small temporary settlements on the surface of Newhome, as they named 4a. When these were ready, work started on a new, bigger settlement that would house all the 60,000 refugees and a starport, a large geodesic dome 50 kilometers in diameter, enclosing an Earth ecosystem. The construction is in progress now, but it will take some time to complete as most of the workforce is busy refining military fuel and mining asteroids. The starport though, is fully functional as of 17 february 3301.
 For now, there isn't much to do or see on Newhome except help with the building of the habitat or trade some essential necessity items like water, food and especially construction materials. However, when the habitat will be finished, it promises some of the prettiest sights in the system and sector (see Traveller's Guide). The natural landscape of 4a is pretty boring consisting mainly of meteoric craters and some tame hills and valleys.The locals however, have become pretty attached to their piece of rock, their Newhome.
