 A medium gas giant, owes its name to its extensive ring system, creating a resemblance to a sombrero, a hat with large brims. Has one large sattelite, Liaququ 4a or Newhome and hundreds of captured small asteroids in orbit around it. Often used for fuel scooping. Excepting the rings, an otherwise unremarkable body. A large battle was fought in low orbit here, in 3170, between the LDF (Liaququ Defence Forces) and an Imperial battlegroup (see History, Liaququ Defence Force).
